Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a large diverse engineering team establishing a culture of collaboration excellence and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support senior developers fostering their professional growth and aligning team performance with company goals.
- Define and drive the technical vision longterm strategy and roadmaps for our software architecture.
- Champion innovation and influence technical decisions that align with the companys growth and mission.
- Develop and implement engineering processes that scale effectively to support a highperforming engineering team.
- Establish best practices and operational guidelines to ensure productivity quality and accountability.
- Oversee the endtoend system development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with company standards.
- Shape and implement an integrated scalable web architecture that supports company growth.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and make strategic decisions on technology investments particularly in opensource stacks like Python PHP and other web technologies.
- Ensure that all software deployments meet performance security and quality standards.
- Maintain oversight of the platforms stability and take ownership of feature deployment and technical performance metrics.
- Partner closely with Product Sales and Client Success teams to align engineering efforts with business priorities.
- Support the Sales team by participating in demos and addressing technical needs during client interactions.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement in code quality system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Encourage the adoption of opensource technologies that align with business objectives and drive innovation.
- Oversee the planning management and execution of development projects with a focus on scope management issue and risk management and alignment with delivery timelines.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in architectural design and development for largescale.
- Highly reliable and highly available applications with a proven track record of success in engineering leadership roles
- Strong demonstrable experience in leading large engineering teams with the ability to inspire mentor and develop highcaliber technical talent.
- Extensive experience with opensource technologies particularly in web development stacks like Python PHP JavaScript or .NET and familiarity with agile development practices.
- Proven record in the timely delivery of complex projects managing largescale engineering processes and handling the technical demands of various software business models.
- Deep knowledge of engineering processes that support largescale team operations including agile methodologies code reviews and best practices in quality assurance.
- Excellent communication problemsolving and interpersonal skills with a strategic approach to conflict resolution collaboration and decisionmaking.
