As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT project strategies managing budgets and timelines and ensuring successful project outcomes through effective risk management and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of IT solutions and project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Strategy & Execution: Design implement and oversee IT project strategies ensuring adherence to agreed budgets and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify assess and mitigate projectrelated risks to ensure smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Develop maintain and manage comprehensive and systematic project documentation for future reference.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Foster effective coordination among all project stakeholders including internal teams and external vendors.
- Budget & Resource Oversight: Monitor and manage project budgets and resources efficiently to ensure costeffective project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage IT project teams setting clear goals and ensuring highquality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent ongoing communication with stakeholders including clients to enhance project visibility and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Evaluation: Prepare and present progress reports and postproject evaluations identifying lessons learned and improvement recommendations.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in IT Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT project management with a background in the multifinance industry considered a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of IT technology with proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Asana Trello Jira).
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership adaptability and creative problemsolving abilities.
- Methodologies: Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project development methodologies risk management and issue resolution.
- Professional Certification: PMP certification is highly preferred.
