Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records preparing and analyzing financial statements managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Generate periodic reports for management and stakeholders to inform decisionmaking.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.

General Ledger Management:
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all account reconciliations.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts including journal entries bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
- Conduct monthend and yearend closing processes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices payments and manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely vendor payments.
- Oversee accounts receivable functions including invoicing payment processing and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and assist in resolving payment discrepancies.

Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP IFRS and company policies.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits providing documentation and answering inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and assist in tax filing and reporting.

Financial Analysis and Support:
- Conduct variance analysis on financial statements identifying trends and areas for cost optimization.
- Provide financial support to other departments as needed helping with ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with the finance team on special projects such as financial system improvements or costreduction initiatives.

Data Management and Integrity:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Use accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) to manage data and streamline processes.
- Safeguard sensitive financial information and ensure it is managed confidentially.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 25 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Indepth knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
