Position Overview
As an AVP Online Business you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients interested in mutual funds through online channels. You will focus on building and scaling online distribution channels drive marketing campaigns and lead funnel conversion. You will be responsible for building AUM and overall revenue. Your role will play a pivotal part in driving our online mutual fund sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive annual business and marketing plans for mutual fund products outlining strategic objectives and targeting both existing and new market segments.
- Spearhead the acquisition of Mutual Fund customers utilizing online channels strategic business partnerships referral programs and alliances.
- Responsible for overall revenue for the Mutual Funds distribution business. Build Mutual Fund F AUM and drive growth in SIP numbers.
- Collaborate closely with marketing team to: 1. Devise and execute impactful online marketing initiatives tailored to attract new customers. 2. Finetune digital marketing channels to bolster lead generation and customer acquisition efforts. 3. Craft compelling and informative content educating potential clients about mutual funds and investment benefits.
- Implement and oversee lead generation and conversion process by leading the voice team.
- Analyze data and market trends rigorously to identify opportunities for refining acquisition strategies enhancing conversion rates and driving revenue growth.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online mutual fund acquisition ensuring transparency and accountability in revenue generation efforts.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices emerging trends and cuttingedge technologies in investment space fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Product Management Technology Operations and Customer Support teams to align on new product launches ensuring consistent and compelling mutual fund products.
- Monitor external market trends and competitors marketing efforts proactively identifying best practices and adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the mutual fund space.
- Take accountability for ongoing product delivery overseeing features enhancements and positioning of the Mutual Fund app to ensure its relevance and competitiveness in the market.
- Address customer issues promptly ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Adhere diligently to operational processes and compliance norms.
- Promote crossselling initiatives offering clients a diverse range of products such as Equity Debt and Portfolio Management Services (PMS) enhancing the overall customer experience and increasing revenue streams.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong business manager with 47 years of relevant experience of online client acquisition digital marketing and revenue generation.
- Proven experience of developing and executing demand generation and conversion.
- The candidate should have relevant experience in sales management and building/managing business partnerships.
- Deep knowledge of the mutual fund business investment products and financial markets.
- Strong knowledge of market trends customer behavior and competitive landscape.
- Masters degree in Marketing Business or Finance from a reputed University.
- Proven experience in online marketing lead generation and customer acquisition preferably in the financial services industry.
