Job Description: LAA Foreclosures

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing foreclosure cases ensuring adherence to legal procedures and timelines.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings notices motions and other filings related to foreclosures.
• Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court personnel.
• Attend court hearings mediations and client meetings as required.
• Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
• Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and attendance.
• Engage actively in continuous learning and professional development within the firm.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong presentation and technical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in litigation particularly in foreclosure or real estate law is preferred but not necessary.
• Juniors are encouraged to apply; the firm values new talent and provides mentorship.
• Familiarity with legal procedures and terminologies associated with real estate and foreclosure cases is an asset.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual salary range: $70000 $80000 CAD.
