Job Description: Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA)

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers and legal staff within the firm.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings motions and other litigationrelated materials.
- Manage and maintain filing systems both physical and electronic for easy retrieval of important documents.
- Coordinate schedules meetings and travel arrangements for legal team members.
- Compile and organize case files ensuring all relevant documents are accurately prepared and filed.
- Assist in client communication maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Perform research and gather information pertinent to ongoing litigation and case management.
- Update and maintain various databases and tracking systems for case progress and deadlines.
- Support the billing and invoicing process for services rendered by the firm.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and legal software applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and filing.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative assistant role or similar position is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with litigation processes and legal terminology is a plus.
- Experience in a teamoriented environment and collaborating with attorneys or legal professionals.
