Job Title: IT Infrastructure Platform Services Manager (VxRail)
Location: Washington DC
100% ONSITE

Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Platform Services Manager to oversee advanced support for a diverse range of onpremises and cloudbased platforms. The successful candidate will ensure the effective management of servers databases storage and cloud instances in a complex IT environment. This role is critical in providing upperlevel technical support and ensuring the seamless operation of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Support:
- Manage and oversee the support of IT infrastructure platforms including servers databases storage solutions and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Quality Communication:
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive oral and written communication regarding IT infrastructure platforms to stakeholders at all levels.
- Produce documentation reports and presentations that articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to the strategic planning of IT infrastructure including capacity planning resource allocation and technology upgrades.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to existing systems.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with IT policies standards and best practices in the management of IT infrastructure.
- Implement ITIL processes and frameworks to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required Certifications:
- At least one (1) advanced certification in relevant technical platforms (e.g. Linux/Unix Microsoft Oracle).
- ITIL Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certification.
- DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively greater responsibility in IT infrastructure roles with demonstrated experience in at least two (2) major IT platforms.
- Proven track record in supporting IT infrastructure platforms within a broad and complex IT environment of similar size and scope.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant information technology discipline or equivalent experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in a federal or government environment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices related to IT infrastructure.
