Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Resource Manager to join our IT team. The Resource Manager will be responsible for managing the allocation and utilization of human and technical resources to meet project demands and company goals. You will work closely with project managers department leads and other stakeholders to ensure that the right people are in the right roles at the right time optimizing resource use and balancing workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of human and technical resources to various IT projects based on priority and availability.
- Workforce Planning: Assess current and future resource needs based on project pipelines timelines and business requirements.
- Utilization Monitoring: Track the utilization of IT staff to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize downtime or overallocation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department leads and project managers to understand resource requirements and assign appropriate personnel to each project.
- Skills Development: Identify skills gaps within the team and work with HR to implement training programs or recruitment initiatives.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve resourcerelated conflicts or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to leadership on resource utilization project status and workforce capacity.
- Forecasting: Anticipate future resource needs based on project roadmaps and ensure a pipeline of talent is available.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors or contractors when needed ensuring efficient use of thirdparty resources.
- Budgeting: Work with the finance team to develop and manage the resource allocation budget for projects and departments.
Requirements
Key Skills:
- Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate resource needs and challenges effectively.
- Analytical Thinking: Capacity to analyze project needs and forecast future resource requirements.
- ProblemSolving: Strong ability to resolve conflicts and resource bottlenecks.
- Time Management: Skilled in prioritizing and balancing resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure software development processes and technical resources.
- Leadership: Ability to manage mentor and coach team members for skill development and optimal performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Business or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Resource Manager or similar role in an IT company.
- Experience with workforce planning and resource management tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile Scrum etc.).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with IT staffing recruitment and vendor management is a plus.

Education
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
