We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are central to all we do.
37.5 per week over 5 days (FullTime)
Key Responsibilities
- It is imperative to maintain a constant awareness throughout the hospital of the paramount importance of the patient in all hospital activities.
- Encouraging the recognition of each patient as a unique individual is essential ensuring that their needs and comfort are always given top priority.
- It is crucial to work within the scope of practice and utilize a structured framework to assess the individual needs of each patient in accordance with hospital nursing policies
- Careful planning of appropriate nursing care for each patient is essential based on a thorough needs assessment that incorporates medical instructions and aligns with established policies procedures and guidelines.
- As a healthcare professional it is important to serve as a role model at all times and provide support and guidance to clinical staff in conducting patient assessments interpreting data and applying knowledge effectively.
- To stay current in clinical practice it is essential to consistently provide nursing care and engage in continuous education
- Effective communication with patients their families and visitors is crucial in ensuring a positive healthcare experience. Additionally coordinating visits with Hospital Chaplains and the Pastoral Care team can offer valuable support and comfort to those in need.
Requirements
- Be registered in the General Division of the active Register held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
- Have 5 years post registration experience and a minimum of 2 years in the specialty or related area.
- Have the clinical managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate evidence of continuing learning and professional development
- Have recent experience in a Leadership/Management role
- Have a recognised qualification in Healthcare Management or be willing to undertake same.
