Represents the business in the marketplace and with the Sales Manager is the principle liaison and point of contact between the Operations and the 3rd Party Distributors (OTAs STOs Wholesalers PCOs Travel Agents).
The Sales Executive takes responsibility for positioning the business and its services and offerings in the marketplace with the intention of maximising occupancy at the highest possible rate.
This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales Reservations and the Operations to ensure that interested parties are conducted on comprehensive site surveys in the organisations properties.
The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors Consortia OTAs and PCAs receive timely deliveries of uptodate Service Rate and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their online and paper marketing materials.
The Sales Executive may with the Sales Manager attend trade shows and events to promote and sell the hotel and its services.
