Technical Program Manager

Summary:
The Technical Program Manager will oversee multiple technology programs and projects for a Amtrak client managing schedules budgets and scope while adhering to best practices in change configuration and quality management. The role requires strong project management skills risk mitigation and collaboration with stakeholders along with leading subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage schedules budgets and scope for various technology initiatives.
• Track and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
• Follow best practices in change configuration and quality management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and progress.
• Lead teams of subject matter experts across different disciplines.
• Produce regular status reports and manage budget/schedule changes.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years of program or project management experience from initiation through implementation.
• PMP certification required; ITIL v4 certification is a plus.
• Experience in the transportation industry or military is a plus.
