Quality Assurance Manager

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Carrollton GA in search of a highly talented Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager provides leadership to establish and maintain quality levels of products from the supply base through to the customer by driving an effective quality system. This role is responsible for the leadership development implementation and management of all QA programs and activities ensuring compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for product quality at plant through promoting Culture of Zero for quality
• Lead documentation and implementation of ISO 9001based quality management system
• Identify Key Process Characteristics using tools like FMEAs and DOEs
• Drive improvement of process capabilities working with equipment OEMs and process engineering
• Develop and maintain process control by inspection plan where process is not capable
• Work with plant operations to drive improvement in process efficiency and product quality
• Assist in driving progress toward prompt Supplier Claim resolution
• Supervise develop and coach QA Supervisor/Technician/Engineer
• Support deployment of companywide systems such as SAP Quality Management

Qualifications:

I. Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred
• Technical Degree preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) a plus

II. Experience:

• 5 years in a Quality Manager position
• Experience in ISO 9001:2015 management systems compliance
• Experience with process capabilities and process control tools (SPC FMEA Cpks)

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

• ISO 9001 Auditor certification required
• Six Sigma Trained or Certified (green or black belt) required
• ASQ certification (CQM/CQE) preferred

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 implementation and quality management systems
• Proficiency in problemsolving tools and root cause analysis techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize projects and work in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of ICEA AEIC UL and ASTM testing standards a plus
• Experience with SAP QM a plus
