Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc.) One Chart Accudose medication dispensing system Avea Ventilators Hamilton Ventilators V60 BiPAP SiPAP Oscillator 3100A & B Jet Vent metaneb Aerogen 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2 years experience Adult Pediatric and/or Neonatal critical care is a plus. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT CRT BLS ACLS etc) RRT & BLS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so how often Are weekends required) The employee will never work alone. It will be every other weekend (or more if preferred) Three 12hour shifts per week (overtime may be available) No call required. It will be rotating day/night shifts. Most shifts will be day shift. Managers may request employee to work an occasional night shift. 6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so to which units/departments) We prefer someone who is able to work in one critical care area. RT s work in all all areas of the hospital including ER critical care and general nursing floors. 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 9. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. Two days of orientation: day oneComputer training and orientation to the floors day twocritical care orientation. |
