Our client is seeking dedicated and detailoriented individuals to assist in the comprehensive verification of assets across Parliament locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical verification of all assets across multiple Parliament locations.
Implement barcode labeling for accurate asset tracking.
Assess and record the condition of each asset categorizing them as good or broken.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to unverified assets.
Identify and report locked locations to the Asset Controller.
Distribute verified inventory lists to designated offices.
Complete and accurately capture asset verification forms.
Provide daily reports to the Asset Controller ensuring transparency and accountability.
Undertake any additional duties related to the asset verification process.
Requirements
- Minimum of Matric (Grade 12).
A threeyear qualification in a related field (e.g. Human Resource Finance Business Administration). - Have six months to one year of experience in asset verification or a related area.
- Proven experience in asset management or inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Proficiency in using scanners and other inventory management tools.
- Availability to work across various Parliament locations.
