As a Commis III, you will assist in the smooth running of the employee cafeteria kitchen by preparation and cooking of the required food items to a high standard, and maintaining hygiene practices.
Qualifications
Excellent food preparation skills.
You will be an innovative and creative person.
You 1 year experience working in the kitchens of 4 or 5 star hotel properties.
Preferably HACCP qualified.
Customer Service
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
Assist guests with menu selections and answer any questions about food and beverages.
Food and Beverage Preparation
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure that all items are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperatures.
Order Management
Take and process customer orders accurately, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Cleanliness and Organization
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Assist in resetting tables and preparing the dining area for the next guests.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth service and efficient operations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service skills and knowledge.
Cash Handling
Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions according to restaurant policies.

Educational Qualifications
High School Diploma: Preferred; some positions may not require formal education.
Experience
Previous Experience: 1-2 years in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
