Job Overview: SENCE Agric is a leading Agric consulting firm we are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Freelance Grants Manager to join our team. This individual will identify secure and manage grant opportunities ensuring successful funding for various agricultural projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grant processes a proven track record in securing funds and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to our firm s mission and project needs.
- Develop and manage the grant proposal process including writing editing and submitting proposals.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of deadlines for grant applications and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for grant applications.
- Monitor and manage grantfunded projects to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports on grant progress to funding bodies.
- Foster and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Agriculture Environmental Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing and management preferably in the agricultural or environmental sector.
- Exceptional writing communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and work independently.
- Familiarity with funding sources including government agencies NGOs and private foundations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or FMCG industries. Strong knowledge of agriculture and farm products, particularly the products offered by the farm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Proven negotiation and sales presentation skills. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed. Passion for sustainable agriculture and promoting local food systems.
