Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Intern to join our remote team. This internship offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in business development learn about market expansion strategies and contribute to our growth initiatives. You will work closely with our business development team to support various tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities market trends and potential clients.
- Lead Generation: Assist in generating and qualifying leads through various channels including social media email campaigns and networking events.
- Client Outreach: Support outreach efforts by drafting and sending introductory emails following up on leads and scheduling meetings.
- Sales Support: Help prepare sales materials proposals and presentations for client meetings and pitches.
- Data Management: Maintain and update CRM systems with client information lead status and followup activities.
- Reporting: Assist in tracking and reporting on business development metrics including lead conversion rates and sales pipeline progress.
- Collaboration: Work with the business development team to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Current enrollment in a Bachelor s or Master s degree program in Business Administration Marketing Management or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Basic understanding of business development principles and sales processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and CRM software. Knowledge of social media platforms is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze market data identify trends and generate insights.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Motivation: Selfstarter with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute.
