My Client a top dynamic beverage company is looking to hire a Sales Director who is familiar with the Nigerian market and grounded in the beverage sector whose primary responsibility would be overseeing the general trade and key accounts.
The role is to accelerate sales growth collaborate with the team and implement a sales plan to drive and achieve revenue growth and sales strategy. He/She must have a proven track record of successfully managing/leading a sales team and other operational functions to strategically achieve results.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Develop and achieve the company s objectives in the allocated region regarding market share sales and people performance.
- Develop and monitor business standards of existing distributors to meet business goals.
- Manages and oversees the commercial operations at the organization.
- Design and execute plans to meet targets and develop relationships with customers.
- Drive brand penetration in general trade and key accounts (Horeca /Modern trade) within the country.
- Oversees and executes the overall business objective in Nigeria.
- Ensure strategic marketing activities are developed and executed for brand visibility and sales.
- Maintain sales volume product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand changing trends economic indicators and competitors.
- Manage counsel discipline monitorand evaluate the performance of the Head of Sales District managers sales executives and market developers and ensure they achieve the designated targets and business goals.
- Create strong relationships with key stakeholders in Nigeria as regards our products.
- Elish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs competition and supply and demand.
Requirements
- A graduate with a relevant degree MBA will be an added advantage.
- Must be in the beverage industry.
- Must have 15 years of work experience.
- Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Previous experience as a senior sales manager or sales director
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products sold.
- Leadership ss to lead teams in achieving results.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced goaldriven environment.
