Tasks

We are looking for a highly motivated and sed midlevel Backend Software Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our agile team. As part of a hybridremote environment you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to build and enhance scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan: Collaborate with other departments to discover new ideas and help shape product requirements.

Action: Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Typescript and AWS services.

Quality: Write clean maintainable and efficient code following TDD principles and e2e tests.

E2E: Develop GraphQL APIs to power our frontend applications.

Engage: Participate actively in chapter discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Improve: Review and improve the existing codebase identifying opportunities for performance optimization and refactoring.

Research: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and AI tools contributing to continuous improvement in both code quality and development processes.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development

Environment: Solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript

Required Technologies: AWS TypeScript GraphQL NoSQL

Nice to Have: CDK DynamoDB Lambda / Serverless Github Actions AppSync SQS / SNS

Education: a degree in Computer Science or related field

Languages: Candidates must be fluent in English.

Location

Strong preference for candidates to work from our Berlin office spending 3 days per week onsite; however a remote setup (within 3 hours CEST) is also considered.
