Netskope Engineer

Location: Hybrid; onsite once a week in Dublin CA

Duration: 6 months CTH ; CTH salary TBD

Cost: $65/hr W2

The Network Security Engineer III is responsible for thinking strategically envisioning and taking steps to implement security improvements to protect Client information and ets. The Network Security Engineer leads initiatives to harden Clients network security posture and capabilities from concept through delivery define and follow discreet procedures and protocols to ensure integrity and compliance. The Network Security Engineer leads the product area strategy roadmap design and vendor/product duediligence functions. The Network Security Engineer serves as a liaison to the other Information Security and IT functional groups influencing outcomes as appropriate. The Network Security Engineer operates as the Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides 3rd level support and excels at production issue resolution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Research evaluate develop and implement Network Security designs and standards following industry best practices.
• Ensure that current and planned technical solutions are compatible with the companys business needs and strategic objectives.
• Work with the other IT organizations to design develop and implement Enterprise Security solutions in support of development test and production environments.
• Provide technical expertise and istance to other IT Business groups and Operations team.
• Provide input on technology roadmap longterm strategies and architectural decisions
• Operate the production environment toolsets and services
• Work with vendors to plan and deploy solutions resolve issues and implement enhancements
• Build and maintain strong working relationships in the client organizational structure to help align technical goals and vision and implement Enterprise Security solutions

MUST HAVE: clear communication

• Experience with Netskope (or competitor) implementation of VPN alternative products (preferably Private Access).
• Experience deploying Zero Trust solutions
• Experienced with SASE implementation
• Network Security background

Desired:

• Email security gateways like Proofpoint
• Seniorlevel technical certification or equivalent (CISSP CCSP MCSA) with demonstrated relevant experience
• Scripting languages such as PowerS Python and JavaScript
• Able to provide leadership guidance and training to others
• Strong in decisionmaking
