Job Description
Responsibilities:
- HVAC engineering design responsibilities (calculating heating/cooling loads select equipment layout duct/piping create/edit project details and write/edit project engineering specifications)
- Plumbing systems design (calculating capacities/loads laying/piping systems and details and editing project specifications)
- Participate in design review meetings/workshops
- Use technical expertise to research/resolve design issues
- Assure drawings/designs meet QA/QC design standards and local codes
- Coordinate with architectural/engineering disciplines
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineer or Architectural Engineering
- 8 years of consulting engineering experience with an emphasis on HVAC/plumbing design
- Experience working on healthcare laboratory commercial municipal institutional and government facilities projects
- PE License
- Knowledge of building controls preferred
- Experience with Revit Trane/Trace IES and Microsoft Office
Salary is commensurate with experience.
