Job Description

Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Mechanical Engineering with Central Utility Plant design experience to their Minneapolis team!


Responsibilities:

  • HVAC engineering design (calculate heating/cooling loads select equipment layout duct and piping create/edit project details write/edit project engineering specifications)
  • Manage clients and coordinate teams
  • Participate in design review meetings and workshops
  • Resolve complex issues
  • Provide design options to project team and document findings
  • Make sure drawing/designs are in accordance with local codes and design standards
  • Coordinate with other disciplines as needed (architectural/engineering)


Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • 8 years of consulting engineering experience in Central Utility Plant design
  • PE License
  • Experience in Steam and Hot Water Boiler Plant Systems
  • Experience in Chiller plants of 1000 tons or greater
  • Experience in Revit BIM Trane/Trace and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in building controls preferred


Salary is commensurate with experience.
