Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Mechanical Engineering with Central Utility Plant design experience to their Minneapolis team!
Responsibilities:
- HVAC engineering design (calculate heating/cooling loads select equipment layout duct and piping create/edit project details write/edit project engineering specifications)
- Manage clients and coordinate teams
- Participate in design review meetings and workshops
- Resolve complex issues
- Provide design options to project team and document findings
- Make sure drawing/designs are in accordance with local codes and design standards
- Coordinate with other disciplines as needed (architectural/engineering)
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 8 years of consulting engineering experience in Central Utility Plant design
- PE License
- Experience in Steam and Hot Water Boiler Plant Systems
- Experience in Chiller plants of 1000 tons or greater
- Experience in Revit BIM Trane/Trace and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in building controls preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
