Contract: Independent Contractor
Job Type: FullTime
Role Overview: As the CFO of a smaller highgrowth startup you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring our financial health. This position requires a blend of strategic insight financial aen and handson . You’ll be a key member of the executive team collaborating closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our business goals. Provide strategic guidance on financial planning risk management and capital structure.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting cash flow management and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for decisionmaking.
- Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and stakeholders. Prepare financial reports presentations and updates to communicate the company’s financial performance and strategic plans.
- Operational Oversight: Work closely with other departments to drive efficiency and financial discipline across the organization. Implement and monitor financial controls and processes.
- Strategic Planning: Support longterm business planning and strategic initiatives. yze market trends business opportunities and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate financial risks including regulatory and operational risks.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a highperforming finance team. Foster a culture of financial excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role preferably in a startup or highgrowth environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance accounting principles and financial planning.
- Experience with financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
- Exceptional leadership ss with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ss with the ability to present complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Strong ytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Familiarity with funding processes and investor relations.
- Nice to have: Experience with directtoconsumer or ecommerce brands is a plus; Experience with fundraising capital
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
