Job Description
ID Recruitment are working with one of Ireland s leading family and Irish owned knitwear brands to recruit a Sales/Business Development Executive. The role will be based in Westport Co. Mayo but will also involve a lot of travel.
The role will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager and will primarily be a fieldbased role. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales with both new and existing customers and markets both at home and abroad.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maximise sales to existing accounts
- Develop and maximise sales to new accounts in domestic and export markets
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Provide customers with all necessary information promotion and support using both traditional and digital ods
- Customer visits as necessary to optimise sales
- Attendance and management of exhibitions
- Provide management with reports and feedback as required by the company
- Liaise with Customer Service Office and other departments as needed
- Ownership and accountability for your role is vital
- ist with other duties when business needs arise
Ss and Experience
- Min. 5 years sales / marketing experience with consumer products/brands ideally in similar or related industry.
- Degree or equivalent in a Sales /Marketing/ Business discipline.
- Strong effective communicator both written oral and digitally.
- A strong team player but equally capable of working on own initiative.
- Flexibility as the role requires.
- Familiarity and exposure to digital marketing tools.
- Process driven attention to detail planning and organisational ss
- Full clean Driver s Licence.
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
