Position Overview
The RN Medical Surgical position is a critical role within our healthcare team focusing on providing comprehensive and patientcentered care to individuals with various medical conditions. This position requires diligent monitoring essment and implementation of treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status reporting any changes to the medical team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Doent patient care essments interventions and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- ist with diagnostic tests and interpret results in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
- Facilitate discharge planning and followup care for patients.
Essential Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical essment and critical thinking ss.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and challenging healthcare environment.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting.
- Experience with electronic health records systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
