Currently we are seeking a Project Management Construction Specialist for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.
Position: Project Management Construction Specialist/Project yst 2
Location: 100% Remote (local to CA only)
Duration: 5 6 Months contract with high possibility of extension
Job description

As a Project Management Construction Specialist you will:
- Provide ytical support to review and process work order packages secure material and ensure the work is authorized to proceed for construction.
- Research yze interpret sophisticated data and problem solve
- Obtain project status update and maintain the project tracking database and work with the appropriate project team member to help remove obstacles throughout the projects lifecycle.
- Support project managers in tracking and reviewing inflight projects with project team by participating in job walks and monthly tactical meetings and adhoc project status meetings.
- Provide data on status of projects and their requirements clarify issues and ensure that Region personnel receive the appropriate support for the successful completion of projects.
- Verify yze and update information in Primavera 6 (P6) SAP and Design Manager (DM) systems as well as Excel.
- Complete monthly reporting activities and support adhoc data requests.
- Maintain a safety conscious work environment by following Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Qualifications
- The essentials
- Two years of experience tracking and reporting project progress and timelines.
The preferred
- ociate degree or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Experience using P6 to track project progress.
- Electric distribution experience.
- Experience in project management theories and practices using IPSEC model.
- Experience crafting and maintaining records logs doents files or databases for use in monitoring tracking and trending program/project costs budget and production variance resources schedules and status for management with attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing updating and preparing reports doents or correspondence for internal and
- external customers to provide project updates and status with attention to detail.
- Experience performing risk ysis capturing doents and researching data on igned topics
- using databases files spreadsheets or other sources.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects/ignments concurrently with minimal oversight under tight timelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint Word SharePoint and SAP.
- Ability to integrate work across relevant areas manage information and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
