Job Description
Our client a leading online company and Germanys largest comparison portal is seeking a Junior Android Developer to join their flight comparison service. The goal is to help customers easily and affordably find and book the perfect flight. Through various devices including apps mobile and desktop the company offers a transparent comparison of offers from hundreds of airlines to thousands of daily users.
The successful candidate will develop innovative software solutions and optimize the user experience for millions. With a focus on clean code and cuttingedge technologies this role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance programming ss.
- Work on exciting projects related to the flight comparison service and implement innovative features for the Android app
- Share ideas with the team and contribute to the global app architecture
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to ensure a unique customer experience by planning and discussing requirements
- Determine optimal approaches to solving technical problems in collaboration with the team
Requirements
- A completed degree in Computer Science Media Informatics Business Informatics or a related field or training as an IT Specialist.
- Initial knowledge in Kotlin/Android SDK and experience with Jetpack Compose along with web technologies such as REST JSON and HTTP
- Experience in objectoriented programming software architectures and design patterns as well as in unit testing/UI testing
- A pion for innovative app development ideas and a strong commitment to quality
- Business fluent in English is required; German language ss are a plus
