Job Description

Key Responsibilities but not limited :

  • Tendering and Estimation:
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids for projects ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Analyze project specifications drawings and other documentation to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineering production and supply chain teams to gather necessary data for bids.
  • Bid Management:
  • Coordinate and manage the entire bidding process including proposal writing submission and followups.
  • Ensure timely delivery of bids and maintain records of all submitted proposals.
  • Participate in prebid meetings and site visits as needed.
  • TechnoCommercial Evaluation:
  • Evaluate project feasibility from both a technical and commercial standpoint.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on bid strategy and project viability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and market conditions to inform bidding strategies.
  • Analyze historical bid data to improve future estimation accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Liaise with clients subcontractors and internal teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
  • Present bid proposals to stakeholders and address any questions or concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tendering estimation and bidding within a manufacturing company preferably in the robotics or AI sector.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g. MS Excel specialized estimation software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
