The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales particularly in IT and Entertainment sectors and demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain longterm client relationships while consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying pursuing and securing new business opportunities primarily within the IT and Entertainment industries. You will take a leadership role in managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting potential clients to negotiating deals and ensuring successful implementation. This includes working closely with internal teams such as marketing operations and product development to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
Your role will involve:
- New Business Development: Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities within the IT and Entertainment sectors building a solid pipeline of prospects. You will be responsible for identifying key decisionmakers understanding their needs and demonstrating how our products and services can provide value.
- Lead Generation and Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with clients and prospects. You will develop strategies to engage with potential clients generate leads and convert them into longterm business relationships. Your ability to understand client pain points and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success in this role.
- Sales Target Achievement: Set and meet sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis consistently tracking your performance against company objectives. You will report regularly to senior management on your progress and ensure that all goals are met or exceeded.
- Vendor Negotiation and Budgeting: In addition to clientfacing responsibilities you will be involved in negotiating vendor contracts and managing budgets for services related to the sales process. This could include sourcing vendors reviewing bids and negotiating favorable terms to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
- International Client Management: While not a strict requirement experience working with international clients is highly desirable. You will need to demonstrate your ability to navigate different business cultures and adapt sales strategies accordingly especially when working with clients in diverse geographic regions.
- Collaboration with Crossfunctional Teams: Work closely with internal departments such as product development and marketing to ensure that our services align with market needs and client expectations. Your insights from client interactions will help inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role the ideal candidate must possess:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Sales Marketing Business or a related field. An advanced degree will be considered an asset.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in the IT or Entertainment industry. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these sectors with a strong focus on technologydriven solutions for entertainment platforms.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and managing accounts particularly in the IT and Entertainment sectors. A proven track record in achieving and surpassing sales targets is essential along with a strong ability to close deals and maintain longterm relationships.
- Network and Relationship Management: A wellestablished network within the Entertainment advertising or corporate sectors is a significant advantage. You should be adept at leveraging this network to generate leads and build strategic partnerships.
- Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating with vendors managing bids and overseeing budgets is required. This experience will be key in ensuring that all sales operations are costeffective and aligned with the companys financial goals.
- Client Communication and Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal are a must. You should be confident in delivering highimpact presentations to clients and negotiating complex deals that satisfy both parties.
- International Experience: While not mandatory prior experience in dealing with international clients is a significant plus. You will need to demonstrate your ability to understand global market dynamics and tailor your sales approach accordingly.
