Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Deploying managing and scaling applications on the OpenShift Container Platform.
Configuring and maintaining OpenShift clusters.
Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
Implementing security policies and procedures for OpenShift environments.
Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Automating tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) and CI/CD pipelines.
Providing technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Ansible Terraform).
Understanding of networking concepts and services (DNS TCP/IP HTTP).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA) are a plus.
Optional Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile DevOps).
Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack Prometheus).
Understanding of container orchestration and microservices architecture.
