Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving desktop and laptop issues installing and configuring hardware and software and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients computer systems. The Desktop Support Engineer will also be involved in troubleshooting network connectivity issues and providing support for various applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops laptops and peripherals
- Install configure and troubleshoot hardware and software
- Ensure the security and efficiency of our clients computer systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus
