Job Description
Title: Tech Site Reliability Engineer (SRE OR Devops)
Location: 100% Remote PST Time zone
Duration: Possible 2 year / ongoing contract
NOTE:
Only W2
Job Description:
- High level Client is building out an infrastructure as a service platform. This individual will be writing APIs and lambdas using Python.
- Test driven development experience testing through a multitiered deployment process will likely be needed to fill this role.
Top 3 must have
- Building/writing Python expert api dev with API Gateway 57 yrs exp. 7080%
- Building/writing Lamda need to have written (Writing Lamdas) Built with Python
- Cloud formation (CFN) (terraform would be a maybe if they are very good).
- Cloud development Kit CDK is a plus
- AWS very experience
Additional notes:
- Workflow engines (step flow) exp. Is a plus
- Aws for media delivery file platform
- Cloud development Kit CDK
They may have been (any of the following) :
Tools engineer
- Full Stack Engineer If they have experience setting up infrastructure
- Site reliability Engineers
- Devops engineer likely the right profile
- Not deployment focused delivery of code
- Can automate Infra provisioning system
- Program Manager
- Prime Video Studios
- Infrastructure
- AWS expert ops or developer are okay. 35 yrs exp *(Azure not likely a match)
- Building APIs to productize their infrastructure
TDD needed :
- Agile
- Jira
- 2week sprints
Questions to ask: Provide a brief write up
- How do you test your code
- How do you test your code to get to production
- What have you done to develop tools for external facing customer
- Are you comfortable writing some python on a white board
