We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MultiModality Technologist to join our team on a fulltime basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing both MRI and CT scans ensuring accurate imaging and exceptional patient care. This position requires flexibility to float between our centers in the Jacksonville area adapting to varying schedules while maintaining high standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality MRI and CT scans as per physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history before procedures.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging studies.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment ensuring it is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
- Review and evaluate images for technical quality ensuring proper identification on all images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced certification in MRI and/or CT.
- State licensure as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI and/or CT imaging.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy imaging techniques and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work fulltime shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multiple imaging modalities.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
- CPR certification.
