Job Description


Our client is a Fintech company that specialises in Savings and Loans in Lagos. It seeks to recruit a dynamic multitalented individual to head the Business Development desk.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate consistent business development success and target driven achievements.

Lead the formulation and monitoring of the company s business development market penetration strategies and plans for enhancing business growth.

Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends within the energy industry.

Identify establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and counterparties ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Drive sales initiatives to increase revenue including negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Prepare and present business proposals bids and tenders to potential clients and partners.

Monitor and analyse competitor activities identifying differentiation and market advantage opportunities.

Enhance the companys brand presence and reputation through targeted marketing and promotional activities.

Prepare regular reports on business development activities achievements and market insights for senior management.

Work closely with other departments including marketing production and finance to ensure alignment of business development strategies with overall company goals.

Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to network and promote business opportunities.

Develop and manage the business development budget ensuring costeffective use of resources.



Requirements

Competencies

1. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word Excel and PowerPoint).

2. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

3. Good knowledge of upcoming and ongoing key projects in the Fintech sector.

4. Proven sales contacts in Nigerias Fintech companies.

5. Proven track record of winning businesses and meeting targets.

6. Capability to identify needs and develop realworld solutions.

7. Business intelligence gathering skills.

8. Selfmotivated with a strategic mindset.

9. Proven experience working with minimum supervision.

10. Charismatic social responsible and passionate about the job.

Requirements

Minimum of BSc in Business Administration or related fields. (What is important is the persons experience and general knowledge of the Fintech industry)

The candidate must be a member of a Foreign Professional body or

Have MSC in any related field from any foreign university.

At least a Foreign certification in Sales or Business management.

Minimum of 10 (/) years of experience in business development within the Fintech industry.

Strong understanding of the Financial market including key trends players and technologies.

Deep understanding of the peculiar dynamics of the regulatory agencies and strong personal contacts within them.

Communication Skills complex information clearly and persuasively.

Strong management skills.

A proper understanding of the financial industry.

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with experience in market analysis and strategic planning.

Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

Experience in managing business development projects from conception to completion.

Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.

The Applicant must reside in Lagos.
