Job Description
NobleEagle Industries Limited needs the service of Procurement Manager for sourcing of highquality cashew from reliable sources and vendors to support business operation. This includes timely and most costeffective sourcing strategy vendor strategic management and ensuring quality control standards.
- Planning developing and executing initiatives & strategies for cashew procurement to meet business goals.
- Tracking of global cashew and Agric commodity price movement and market.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with farmers cooperatives and other important stakeholders.
- Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedule with vendors.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing vendors also ensuring compliance with standards.
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and vendor performance targets are met or exceeded (KPI).
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
- Sourcing high quality cashew and collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure timely delivery meets expectations.
- Ensure the security and sustainability of sources of essential products and services.
- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
- Manage inventory levels ensuring adequate stock in line with stock holding policy.
- Budgeting goals setting and reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor s degree (B.Sc.)/HND Purchasing and Supply Agriculture or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement / commodities experience preferably in the Cashew industry.
- Strong knowledge of cashew markets trends quality standards and regulatory requirement.
- Good communication negotiation and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
- Masters in supply chain management and experience with international trade and Logistics will be added advantage.
- Knowledge of local and international; cashew markets will be added advantage.
- Location: Owo Ondo State or Lagos State.
