Job Description
We are working with a software company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Principal Backend Engineer to join their Singapore team.
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Backend Engineer with over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing cloudbased enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will lead crossfunctional teams in delivering scalable secure and resilient microservicebased applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership on cloud computing strategies and best practices.
- Define backend architecture for enterprise solutions and oversee the full SDLC.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to align on the product vision.
- Lead the design development and deployment of cloudbased infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best engineering practices. - Mentor and support the Backend Engineering team in their professional growth.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computing Software Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of experience in systems architecture and backend engineering.
- Expertise in cloud platforms microservices Kubernetes Java Spring Boot Kafka and both SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and backend architecture.
- Proven track record in CI/CD implementation DevOps toolsets and container deployments.
- Excellent documentation time management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (desirable).
