Job Description

Role: Genesis Accounts Head
Salary:46LPA
Immediate Joiner Preferred

Overview:

The Genesis Accounts Head plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of the organization. They are responsible for leading the accounting and finance teams providing strategic guidance for financial planning and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organizations goals
  • Oversee financial reporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial closing
  • Lead financial analysis and provide insights for decisionmaking
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives
  • Optimize and streamline financial processes and controls
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute financial expertise
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and tools
  • Implement risk management strategies and internal controls
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and efficiency
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Sound decisionmaking and risk management capabilities
  • Experience working in a corporate or multinational environment
