Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
- Manage cash flow and forecasting
- Monitor and control budgeting processes
- Provide financial insights to senior management
- Coordinate and manage external audits
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Participate in strategic planning and financial goal setting
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance
- Lead process improvements and system implementations
- Prepare financial information for board meetings
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA CMA or ACCA
- Minimum of 5 years experience in finance and accounting
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
- Previous experience in team management and leadership
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
