Job Description
Are you detailoriented and passionate about financial management Affinity Services is seeking a motivated Assistant Officer in Debt Management to join our team. If you have a strong analytical mindset and are eager to help manage and optimize our debt collection processes this is the role for you!
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of accounts receivable and collections.
- Monitor outstanding debts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports on debt status and recovery efforts.
- Analyze debtor profiles to identify trends and propose strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate; a qualification in finance accounting or business is preferred.
- Previous experience in debt management or financial services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and familiarity with financial software.
