Tasks
- Manage and coordinate the packing and removals team to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations
- Oversee the packing loading transportation and unloading of customer belongings with a focus on quality and care
- Ensure all packing materials equipment and vehicles are wellmaintained and readily available
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for packing supplies as needed
- Provide handson support to the team during peak periods or complex moves
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements
- Foster a positive safetyconscious work culture and provide coaching and development to team members
- Liaise with the customer service team to address any customer queries or concerns
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry
- Excellent planning organisational and problemsolving skills
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of packing techniques materials and equipment
- Forklift and other machinery operating licences highly regarded
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
