We are looking for a Payroll Executive to join our clients payroll team.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fullyfledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance corporate tax legal and gaming and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a portfolio of clients.
- Assist in meeting endofyear FSS deadlines.
- Prepare and submit FS4s and FS5s as required.
- Maintain precise payroll records by collecting calculating and entering data.
- Process registrations for JobsPlus social security and tax numbers.
- Apply for available benefit schemes on behalf of clients.
- Organise and maintain payroll records and folders.
- Perform internal compliance reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through data analysis.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to achieve collective goals.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Manage a portfolio of payroll clients across various industries ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Actively manage and enhance relationships with clients ensuring high levels of quality efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Manage your own workflows workloads and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments including accounting funding tax and corporate departments.
- Assist and perform tasks as delegated by the Payroll Manager.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in payroll or HR.
- Experience working in a CSP environment is considered an asset.
- A fundamental understanding of payroll principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with payroll software systems is preferred.
- You meet deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner.
- You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese.
- You work independently and as part of a team with a proactive approach.
- You build relationships with clients and have a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Paying strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
- Handling confidential information with discretion.
- Exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
- Managing organisational tasks and time effectively.
EDUCATION
A Bachelors degree is preferred.
WORKING TIME
- Flexibility in starting time from 07:30 till 09:30 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
- Candidates seeking a reducedhours schedule are also considered.
