Job Description
As a Structural Design Engineer you will be responsible for reviewing shop drawings and related submissions supporting the procurement team with civilrelated packages coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and following up on structuralrelated submissions. This role ensures that all structural elements meet design criteria and project requirements while facilitating effective collaboration across various engineering disciplines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review shop drawings and all related submissions with reference to project design criteria general notes and details.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Assist the procurement team in preparing civilrelated package documentation.
- Provide technical input and ensure that procurement packages meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with civil architectural and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) engineers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among different engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project .
- Monitor and follow up on structuralrelated submissions including shop drawings material submissions and reports.
- Ensure timely review approval and processing of submissions addressing any comments or revisions as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in structural engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles codes and standards.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience with procurement processes and documentation preparation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detailoriented with strong problemsolving abilities.
