Job Description
Hybrid position requiring onsite work in Owings Mills on Mondays and Tuesdays
Core skills required: Splunk AWS (DC2 & DNS) Ansible for automation
Candidates should have heavy Splunk administration experience and experience building out Splunk infrastructure
Splunk certification preferred but not required
Minimum 3 years experience managing and configuring Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud
Experience with Splunk clustered deployment topology required
Familiarity with Linux and Windows agents for Splunk administration needed
Experience in designing developing and deploying cloudbased solutions using AWS
Proficiency in onboarding new data configuration creating new dashboards and extracting information through Splunk
Experience with writing or modifying custom Splunk addons
Strong scripting skills (Python Bash) for automation and custom development
Knowledge of log management data onboarding and SIEM principles
Preferred technical experience includes Splunk Certification (Admin or Architect) Ansible tower automations Gitlab large platform migration efforts AWS OpenSearch and Cribl
Expertise in Java Python and ETL data processing
Experience in designing developing and deploying data lakes using AWS native services
Proficiency in creating and maintaining data models
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing storage and retrieval
Experience with data pipeline orchestration platforms
Knowledge in Ansible/Terraform/Cloud Formation scripts and Infrastructure as Code scripting
Proficiency in implementing monitoring logging and alerting solutions for data infrastructure.
