Job Description
Overview
The SAP BRF Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining SAP Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF) solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and processes. This role requires expertise in SAP BRF configuration and customization to enhance decisionmaking and automate business rules within the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP BRF solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP BRF applications to meet specific business rule management needs.
- Provide technical expertise in integrating SAP BRF with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Develop and maintain rule sets decision tables and rule flows within SAP BRF.
- Participate in endtoend implementation projects including design development testing and deployment of BRF solutions.
- Perform system analysis and troubleshooting for BRF related issues.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless BRF integration with existing SAP solutions.
- Document technical specifications solution designs and configuration activities related to SAP BRF.
- Provide guidance and support to junior consultants and end users on SAP BRF best practices and usage.
- Stay updated with SAP BRF enhancements and new features and provide recommendations for their implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BRF configuration and implementation.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Workflow.
- Handson experience in SAP BRM (Business Rule Management) and BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework).
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating SAP BRF with other SAP modules and thirdparty systems.
- Strong understanding of business rule modeling decision tables and rule flows within SAP BRF.
- Experience in leading BRF design workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in SAP BRF is a plus.
- Expertise in areas like Reports Module Pool Forms RFC BAPI BADI BDC User Exits enhancement points and ABAP OOP s.
- Understands functional specifications and develops and implement technical specifications.
- Experience/Knowledge of Tax and revenue module is desirable.
- At least one full lifecycle implementation project (from Blueprint/Explore through GoLive)
