Job Description

Center of Excellence (COE) is an integral part of Product Development and Engineering Unit in Business Tech. Our mission is clear: to empower our organization and customers with exceptional digital experiences through cuttingedge engineering practices.
As part of the team in the Enterprise Application Area under COE youll play a pivotal role in advancing our software development capabilities. Youll work collaboratively to optimize processes and ensure the delivery of highquality efficient and secure software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • As an Engineering Manager you are responsible for formal staff responsibility for a number of employees with functional and tech competence e.g. technical engineer software engineer platform engineer data analyst distributed in one or cross several teams. 
  •  Your primary focus will be ensuring that the product teams have the right competencies by strategically managing resources. This role requires a genuine interest in the development and growth of individuals providing vision security and clarity on their journey.  
  • You will navigate multiple stakeholders demands handle pressure and translate longterm goals into actionable strategies leveraging your ability to zoom in and out of the big picture. 
  • Manage a highcaliber team who are responsible for Analysis plan design development/configuration and implementing SAP FICO solutions to meet strategic usability performance reliability control and security requirements to enable Finance business processes.  
  • As an Engineering manager you are responsible to ensure your employees can deliver in an efficient way according to set goals in a healthy worklife balance approach. 
  • A unique opportunity to be a part of a growing SAP Finance team that drives consistency quality and efficiency of the services delivered to Finance clients.  
  • Support and coordinate the efforts of Subject Matter Experts Development Quality Assurance Usability Training Transport Management and other internal resources for the successful implementation of system enhancements/fixes  
  • Support daily Core SAP Finance operations and provide timely and consistent resolution of thirdlevel Support activities. Perform SAP FI Configuration as required. 

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP FICO with implementation and migration to S/4 Hana projects.
  • Experience in managing a highcaliber team with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology Business Engineering or a related field (BE/BTech/MS/MCA FullTime Education).
  • Good working experience in General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA) and Internal Orders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment collaborating with teams across different geographies.
  • Familiarity with new features of S4 Hana.
  • Excellent communication presentation and problemsolving skills
