About the job
We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to extract valuable insights and support datadriven decisionmaking processes. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to identify business requirements design data models and generate reports that contribute to organizational growth and success.
Your responsibilities
Data Collection and Preparation:
- Gather and collect data from various sources ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Cleanse transform and format data to ensure consistency and usability.
- Develop data acquisition and data quality assurance processes.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to explore and interpret large datasets.
- Identify trends patterns and correlations in data to uncover insights and opportunities.
- Perform advanced analytics such as predictive modeling and segmentation to support business goals.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create visually appealing and informative reports dashboards and presentations.
- Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
- Develop interactive data visualizations to facilitate data exploration and understanding.
Business Intelligence and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
- Conduct adhoc analyses and provide datadriven recommendations to support decisionmaking.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive operational improvements.
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure data privacy security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Establish data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Maintain documentation of data processes and procedures.
- Able to travel to project sites if required for data collection and management.
Requirements
Who you are
- At least 5 years of experience as Project Data or Business Analyst
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics StatisticsAnalytics Computer Science or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python R SQL or similar programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI Excel or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling.
- Knowledge of data cleansing transformation and preparation techniques specific to forestry agriculture or horticulture data.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex data findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders in the context of forestry agriculture or horticulture domains.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proven ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and collaborate with stakeholders from various departments.
- Experience with data governance data quality and data management principles is desirable.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus.
