Job Description
Overview
As an SAP PI/PO Consultant you will play a crucial role in the design development and implementation of SAP Process Integration and Process Orchestration solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between different systems applications and platforms and for providing technical expertise in middleware technologies. Your contributions will be essential in optimizing and enhancing business processes and data flow within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP PI/PO interfaces and mappings based on business requirements
- Implement and configure SAP PI/PO adapters for various communication channels
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather integration requirements and provide technical insights
- Perform system integration testing and support user acceptance testing for SAP PI/PO solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to interface design mapping and system integrations
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in SAP PI/PO development and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP PI/PO solutions and integration processes
- Participate in the continuous improvement of integration tools processes and best practices
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new middleware technologies and tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through SAP PI/PO
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Certification in SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) is highly preferred
- Proven experience in SAP PI/PO development and implementation including integration scenarios mappings and adapters
- Proficiency in middleware technologies such as SAP NetWeaver Java and XML
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems and their integration with SAP PI/PO
- Ability to analyze diagnose and resolve complex integration issues and performance bottlenecks
- Experience with EDI IDoc RFC SOAP and RESTful web services within an SAP environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise integration and middleware solutions
