Job Description

Senior Project Manager with Mergers and acquisitions

6 Months

Remote (5070% Travel)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience is required with Mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven record of planning and delivering complex projects
  • Experience managing remote project teams desired
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in full project management lifecycle for software/maintenance/ development/ implementation projects and IT methodologies (ITIL)
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions; demonstrated experience managing customer relationships

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects ensuring delivery is ontime within scope and within budget.
  • Define and track project milestones developing and maintaining an integrated delivery plan.
  • Liaise with resource managers to ensure the availability of resources to meet project timelines.
  • Apply risk management strategies to handle project risks impacting cost quality scope or schedule.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Review and approve time cards related to your project.
  • Develop business case financial models.
  • Forecast monitor and report on project financials maintaining data in project management tools.
  • Manage change requests assessing impacts on scope schedule and cost; communicate with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with supplier management groups to oversee supplier engagement service quality and costs.
  • Ensure project compliance with regulations policies standards and procedures including SOX and PM standards.
  • Regularly update business stakeholders on project status and publish status reports as needed.
  • Represent the project in governance and interdepartmental forums.
  • Ensure projects meet success criteria and ROI targets as defined in the business case.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs between project size complexity cost urgency risk and stakeholder value.
  • Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and ensure project delivery meets these targets.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodology and compliance standards set by the company.
  • Mentor and assist other PMO members sharing knowledge to promote successful project delivery.
