Job Description
Pay Range : $32/hr on W2
This role within Roche Diagnostics involves performing and overseeing production and production support activities at the Branchburg facility a primary PCR manufacturing site for invitro diagnostics. Responsibilities include producing and managing PCRbased diagnostic products handling hazardous materials and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The position supports laboratory operations supply inventory data documentation and equipment maintenance contributing to Roche s diagnostic innovations for patients worldwide.
- Conduct and oversee production tasks in accordance with SOPs cGMPs and OSHA regulations.
- Monitor lab supplies document production data and maintain compliance with established protocols (e.g. SAP LIMS).
- Execute direct manufacturing including formulation of reagents and solutions per batch records and SOPs.
- Ensure lab equipment maintenance calibration and documentation align with quality standards.
- Attend required training and maintain a safe work environment potentially involving hazardous materials.
- Manage workload and priorities based on business needs SAP data and customer requirements.
- Provide input on laboratory procedures experiment design and protocol documentation. Assist with SOP generation and development of new processes.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel; basic understanding of production and laboratory operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience required; 2 years preferred.
