What you get to do in this role:
- Drive Pricing Insights and Analytics roadmap for the company
- Build tools and infrastructure to empower members of the broader pricing team and other stakeholders in the company to access key insights and relevant data easily
- Deliver actionable insights using stateoftheart and statistically robust research techniques and tools to further our understanding of what factors influence the key pricing outcomes that the pricing team is accountable for
- Support daytoday analytical and reporting needs of the broader pricing team as needed. Prioritize and resources the key asks from the team
- Partner with product leaders business operations FP&A and other stakeholders to support their data and research needs
- Mentor a team of highly talented individuals on the art of advanced quantitative research and data engineering
- Work closely with central data teams to ensure the needs and requirements of the pricing teams are met and ensure the pricing analytics teams are supported and prioritized
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role we need someone whohas:
- 10 years of prior experience in Business Operations Analytics Data Science or related field providing actionable reporting/ insights and building reporting tools
- Expertise in SQL and other advanced data analytical capabilities
- Strong managerial and mentorship skills
- Demonstrated experience leading an insightfocused team developing a vision and roadmap that balances internal teams needs (e.g. infra work) stakeholders priorities and developing net new capabilities for the team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience and interest in pricing
For positions in the Bay Area we offer a base pay of $207100 $372900 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
